1986年出生于山东省青州市，2011年毕业于四川美术学院，现工作生活于重庆。
2014年，获选参与罗立中奖学金十年回顾展。
2010年，获提名第一届张晓刚研究生当代艺术创作奖学金及在第二届中国高校美术作品学年展获得三等奖。
曾经在香港巴赛尔艺术展2013举办个人展览时得到大力褒奖，亦曾在香港、伊斯坦堡、柏林、北京及成都等地举办个人展览，作品多以辽阔视野和豪迈风格见称，不时强烈地展现出中国年轻一代激荡多变的思想世界。
Arecent graduate from the Sichuan Academy of Fine Arts, Cui Xinming (b. 1986,lives in Chongqing) is a rising Chinese artist who creates expansive oil oncanvas works that express, in an elaborate and vivid painterly style, thetumultuous thoughts and reflections of a younger Chinese generation that isliving through a period of constant change. From Xinming’s early series ‘BlackHole of Memories’ to his most recent body of work ‘A Sleepwalker’s World’ and‘Journey to the East’, Xinming addresses, in an evolving painterly style, howhis peers and compatriots are casting into oblivion the past and its richmemories as an attempt to relentlessly attain a new stage of modernity.
CuiXinming is a highly lauded emerging contemporary Chinese artist based inChongqing. Recently selected for the prestigious 2015 ‘Luo Zhongli 10 YearsReview Exhibition’ at the Chongqing MOMA, he has previously held solo shows inHong Kong and has been exhibited in Istanbul, Berlin, Beijing and Chengdu,amongst other locations. In 2010 he was nominated for the 1st Zhang XiaogangGraduate Contemporary Art Scholarship and came in third place at the 2ndChinese Institute Annual Art Exhibition. His work has been featured in multiplepublications, including the South China Morning Post, Art Info, The Art Newspaper,Oriental Daily News, Flash/On, and Artron.
